This Traditional Wedding Invitation features all of the most traditional components - Inner and Outer envelopes, separate Reception Card,RSVP card with envelope, and tissue paper. Tissue paper was originally used to protect the ink from the invitation from smearing. While more modern inks do not smear like older ones used to, many people still like to include the tissue paper as a nod to many of the traditional wedding invitations. This invitation could be printed with or without the cross at the top or another design element like a pineapple or monogram could be used in its place.
This invitation as shown features thermography for the black text and embossing for the crossing. These prices are not included on our price guide. Thermography pricing is similar but higher than the letterpress pricing which is on our price guide. The same design could be flat/digitally printed but the cross would not be able to be raised as it is currently shown with blind (no ink) embossing.

Our pricing includes complimentary changes to the fonts and colors and four rounds proofs. Additional rounds of proofs are $25/each and design additions/changes are available for $45 an hour / 1 hour minimum.

Paper and Printing Choices:
We use our Cotton Stock for all of our letterpress printing. Our Cotton Stock is a tree free (100% cotton) off-white cardstock with a soft and textured finish, a very eco-friendly choice. Our double-ply Cotton Stock is 220# and our standard Cotton Stock is 110#.
All printing options that include envelopes are for blank envelopes in the same color as your paper choice and include 10 extra envelopes. Additional envelopes, individual and return address envelope printing, and colored envelope options are available and can be added to your order. We also now offer white flat printing for dark envelopes!

After you place you order, we will email you a questionnaire to collect all necessary information for your design including wording, colors, fonts, and style notes. We are happy to help advise you on invitation wording and etiquette if you are unsure of the exact wording you would like at the time of your purchase. The Design Process and timeline does not begin until all necessary information has been received.
Changes to fonts and changes to colors are free of charge but please read about color matching.
