Ellabette™ is a script font that was created by a wedding stationery designer after working in the industry for over a decade and getting request after request for script fonts that were formal but most importantly, actually legible. Ellabette is warm and inviting, playful but elegant. Perfect for all things weddings, branding, editorial, social, and web.
Designed with weddings in mind with fun special ligatures like "RSVP" "and" and "to" and works beautifully for legible address lists and envelope printing.
Ellabette features over 650 glyphs covering full punctuation, numbers, roman numerals (1-10), fractions, currency support (¢ $ € £ ¥ ), and extensive language support (see list below). Opentype features include contextual and stylistic alternates (45+ standard and discretionary ligatures), many initial and final/terminal glyphs, alternate glyphs for most letters. Opentype features are best accessed in Adobe programs (through the glyphs panels in Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop). In Adobe programs, we recommend turning on "Standard Alternates" and "Contextual Alternates" through the OpenType panel for best font performance. To access the opentype features in other programs or text editors, you will need to use Font Book on Macs or Character Map on PCs.
